چکیده
The study focuses on the comparative evaluation of extraction methods (ultrasonication and agitation) based phenolic composition antioxidative activities Mammillaria prolifera it is first report this subject. effects conditions temperature (25° 60°), time (15, 30 60 min) solvent type (water 70 % 100 methanol) total compounds, 2,2'-azinobis( 3-ethylbenzothiazoline-6-sulfonic acid) 2,2-diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl anti-radical ferric ion reducing antioxidant power values were determined. Moreover, acid compositions extracts investigated by high performance liquid chromatography. prepared with ultrasonic method showed stronger activity than those agitation methods. In both compounds lowest in aqueous extracts. results a positive correlation observed between studied optimal for from found as min time, 60° methanol concentration using ultrasonication method. Notably, protocatechualdehyde, gallic acid, para hydroxy benzoic ferulic identified chromatography-diode array detector system 14 standards. Consequently, cladodes can be used food or pharmaceutical practices, potential natural source antioxidants.
